I find inspiration for my paintings in my home and neighborhood of Old Town Alexandria, Virginia.  In this series, I enjoy transforming the everyday subjects I see into bursts of colors and light. My quick brushstrokes and liberal use of a palette knife allow me to add a sense of energy to my paintings.
